BDA Senior Managing Director Charles Maynard wins “40 Under 40” award

Charles Maynard, BDA’s co-founder and Senior Managing Director, has received The M&A Advisor’s 2011 “40 Under 40” award for achieving a significant level of success in the M&A industry while under the age of 40.
Mr. Maynard was nominated and then chosen by an independent board of M&A professionals. He was selected for his professional and personal contributions to BDA, its clients, and the community.
Since co-founding BDA in 1996, Mr. Maynard has advised successful transactions throughout the region, including the sale of Cookson Group plc’s epoxy molding compounds business to Panasonic, the sale of Global Power Equipment Group’s HRSG business to Austrian Environment & Energy, and the sale of Fedders’ air conditioning assets to various buyers. Mr. Maynard is now based in New York, has previously lived in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, and will be moving to Beijing in early 2012. He established BDA’s offices in Tokyo and in Seoul. Mr. Maynard was educated at Oxford University (MA Hons, Geography) and holds a Certified Diploma in Accountancy and Finance from the ACCA.
