Hideyuki Tozawa is Partner and Co-Head of BDA’s Tokyo office. Before joining BDA, Mr. Tozawa worked at Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory, where he was a partner and Head of Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment in Japan and primarily focused on advising leading Japanese corporations on cross-border M&A.

Prior to that, he was Head of Telecommunication, Media, Entertainment and Technology in Investment Banking in Macquarie Capital Japan. Mr. Tozawa began his career in 1993 at Mitsui & Co., Ltd., and then established core Technology, Media and Telecom experience at NTT. He has also develop extensive experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital at The Carlyle Group, Intel Capital and Shinsei Bank. He holds a Master of Science in Electronical Engineering from Keio University. He is fluent in English and native in Japanese.
