Ryota Kobayashi is an Associate based in Tokyo.

Before joining BDA, Mr. Kobayashi worked as a coverage banker in the Investment Banking Division of Mizuho Securities, where he was involved in the origination and execution of M&A, IPO and debt/equity financing deals in the chemical industry. Prior to that, Mr. Kobayashi worked at IHI Corporation, a comprehensive heavy-industry manufacturer in Japan. He holds a Bachelor of Education and Human Sciences from Yokohama National University. He is fluent in English and Japanese.
