BDA Partners is pleased to announce that its clients, Navis Capital Partners and Novo Tellus Capital Partners, have completed the sale of MFS Technology in Singapore to DCP Capital. BDA acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Navis and Novo Tellus.
MFS is a leading development partner and provider of interconnect solutions for 170 multinational customers, delivering high value products to 300 customer sites globally. MFS specializes in interconnect solutions for high density interconnect, low volume, high-mix flexible printed circuit, PCB and rigid-flex circuit markets. MFS operates out of Singapore, Malaysia, and China.
Jean-Christophe Marti, Senior Partner of Navis, and Loke Wai San, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Novo Tellus, commented: “Our objective in the MFS investment was to sharpen the company’s focus on Automotive, Industrial, Medical and Storage (“AIMS”) customers, riding on several related secular growth trends, including the advent of the Internet-of-Things, growth in spend on medical devices, automobile electrification and the rise of driverless vehicles, and growth in demand for data storage capacity. This strategic refocusing, coupled with management’s fine stewardship of the business, has been fundamental to MFS’s consistent and reliable growth over the years.”
"We’re delighted to have advised Navis and Novo Tellus on their successful exit. Over the past four years, MFS has repositioned itself as a successful global business, and we are excited to watch as MFS enters the next phase of growth under DCP. This transaction highlights BDA’s expertise in the industrial sector, and our ability to execute global sale processes for private equity clients."
