BDA advises Printronix on sale of its Thermal Printer business to TSC in Taiwan

BDA Partners is pleased to announce that its client, Printronix, a leader in industrial printing solutions, has closed the sale of its Thermal/AIDC business (“Thermal Business”) to TSC Auto ID Technology Co Ltd (“TSC”) in Taiwan. BDA acted as the lead advisor, alongside CriticalPoint Partners, to Printronix. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The retained business will continue to focus on impact printing technology, where Printronix holds the leading global position. The Thermal Business will operate independently under the name Printronix Auto-ID.
