Jeffrey Wang is a Chairman in BDA’s Shanghai office. He joined BDA in 2001. From 1995 to 2001, Mr. Wang worked in the Investment Banking Division of Salomon Smith Barney, and its predecessor, Schroders PLC, based in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
There, he advised multinational companies on a number of acquisitions, JVs and other direct investments in China, as well as IPOs and private placements for Chinese companies. From 1988 to 1995, he worked as correspondent banking officer in the International Division of the Bank of Communications, one of the largest commercial banks in China. Mr. Wang speaks fluent Mandarin and English and was educated at Peking University (BA, Economics).
