BDA advises Olympus Capital and AIF Capital on sale of X-Fiper to Beijing Tongyizhong

BDA Partners is pleased to announce that its clients, Olympus Capital and AIF Capital, have agreed to sell X-Fiper New Materials Co., Ltd. to Beijing Tongyizhong New Material Technology Co., Ltd.

BDA acted as the exclusive financial advisor to X-Fiper and its shareholders.

X-Fiper is a leading producer of aramid fibers and papers for the domestic and global markets. Aramid materials are important in a wide array of applications, including protective clothing, electronic insulation, aerospace, wind turbines and rail transportation.

Headquartered in Suzhou City, X-Fiper holds a significant position in China’s aramid fiber and composite material markets. As China’s second-largest domestic aramid paper producer, it is capable of producing its own fiber materials. Its range of offerings and product quality are recognized by clients across global end markets.

Tongyizhong specializes in ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWP) fibers and composite materials, including polyethylene unidirectional (PEUD) fabric, aramid unidirectional fabric, and bulletproof products. Its UHMWP fiber products lead the industry in quality and performance. With the addition of X-Fiper, Tongyizhong will gain access to new market verticals.
